Interested in becoming a Level 1 Referee? A Level 1 Referee course will be held from 8:30am - 12:30pm on Sunday 6 March at Redcliffe Touch, Henzell Street & Victoria Avenue, Redcliffe QLD.
STEP 1 Register with/ Log in to ‘The Nest’ Instructions for registering with the Nest
STEP 2 Find and enrol in the Level 1 Referee course Click Training Library > TFA Coaching Courses > Level 1 Referee Course At this stage you will be required to –
Enrol in the course
Pay online
(check with your Affiliate/ Club for discounts) STEP 3 Complete the theory component of your course
Complete the Community Officiating General Principle (2-3 hours) on the AIS website
Upload your General Principles certificate to the Nest and wait for it to be approved
STEP 4 Find and enrol in the practical component
Click - My Training > TFA – Level 1 Referee (click View) > ‘Start Course’

Enrol in the practical component from the calendar
‘Download Level 1 Referee Manual’ – click to download, print and bring along to the practical session (or bring it on a device to view on!)
STEP 5 Attend the practical component indicated above Please note: to be able to attend the practical component you MUST have completed the enrolment at Step 4, which will not become available until the Community Officiating General Principles has been approved.
